Our goal in taking part in this fair is to directly introduce and explain our country’s history and culture to a wide range of people in the Far East. Furthermore, when we take the recent development of Turkey in the aspect of foreign trade, we hope that great opportunities will arise from this fair regarding improvement of Turkey’s commercial and political relations firstly with that region and then with all of the world. In addition, we can introduce our country to the countries which may vote for our party in order to carry out the EXPO 2015 Fair in İzmir. Since this exhibition to be arranged will be permanent and visitors can always attend it, this exhibition will contribute to the long term introduction of Turkey.
DESIGNING RULES OF TURKISH GARDEN AND MATERIALS USED FOR DESIGN
Before the influence of the Western culture, the Turkish Garden was expressed as a functional living space with a simple mode of organization. There was not any specific axle creating symmetry between the building and garden. Living and dining areas as well as small buildings in the outdoor space provided integrity with the main building. Relation between landscape form and garden in sloping areas was established by terrace gardens. In this context, the most important characteristic of the Turkish Garden was that the planning elements in the garden did not have a symmetry based design. However, Turkish Garden sometimes contained flat lines and geometrical architectural elements. |
